Decades ago, while on a romantic vacation in Italy, my husband bought me a gorgeous Valentino raffia tote covered in handmade straw rosettes, hand-strung bugle beads, and sequins. Extravagant in every way but I had to have that handbag.
Over the course of time, the raffia along the side seams began to split and I retired my souvenir. My daughter-in-law was looking for a straw tote and I decided to resurrect my sad Valentino. Unfortunately, no one was brave enough to take on the task; not even the skilled customer service team at Valentino in Boston. Thomas, the wonderfully helpful Valentino, Boston store manager, did, however, suggest Rago Brothers and assisted me by sending my handbag on to have the damage evaluated.
I was duly contacted by a delightful Rago manager regarding possibilities for repair. Rago Brothers kept me posted every step of the way with telephone calls and photos of leather selections. My handbag is restored to its former glory. I am beyond delighted with the results and cannot recommend Rago Brothers services more highly—special kudos to Gladys and Luis who worked their very special magic.
