My stylish NJ sister-in-law had praised Rago Brothers to me, so I contacted them about somehow changing the hardware on my black quilted Chanel purse from silver to gold — which I was rather certain Chanel would never do for any amount of money. I shipped the purse to Rago from Boston, with adequate insurance. Upon seeing it, Hannah quoted me a reasonable estimate, and then proceeded to have the closure, grommets, chain, etc. re-plated per my wishes. I’ve just received the purse and it looks stunning.
