Jimmy Choo Shoe Repair

Unlike other luxury fashion designers, Jimmy Choo actually began his career creating fashionable, hand-made shoes for women, as opposed to a clothing line, bags or accessories. Choo was born in Malaysia in 1948, and it has been reported that his father taught him how to make shoes and that Jimmy made his first pair at eleven years old.

Jimmy Choo eventually emigrated to England and worked in restaurants and cleaning factories to put himself through college. After graduating from college, he started his hand-made shoe business with a partner and was quickly identified as an up-and-coming designer. One of his most famous clients was Princess Diana, the Princess of Wales. Having the Princess as his client certainly helped propel his popularity at the time.
