Prada Handbag Repair

Prada was founded by brothers Mario and Martino Prada in Milan, Italy, in 1913. Originally, it was a leather goods shop called Fratelli Prada, specializing in the sale of English steamer trunks and handbags. In 1979, when the third generation of Pradas were running the company, Miuccia Prada released her first set of backpacks which were constructed of the same tough, black nylon that her grandfather used as coverings on the trunks he once sold. The line later became her first success, and this black nylon style is still an iconic Prada look.

Our craftsmen can perform a large variety of repairs on Prada purses. Some repairs include: stitching or replacing linings, zipper repair or replacement, piping, resealing handles, cleaning and refinishing leather, custom logo letters made, repairing or replacing hardware, restructuring, and making custom straps and handles.

While we are unable to provide Prada branded replacement parts, we are often able to repair or reuse the original hardware. In the event that we cannot reuse your original hardware, we will work with you to source a similar generic replacement.

Prada® and its related patterns, designs, and logos are owned by Prada Group and Prada S.p.A and protected by international trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
