Rebecca Minkoff Handbag Repair

Rebecca Minkoff was born in San Diego, California and began sewing from a young age after being taught the craft by her mother. She went to high school in Florida to study dance, but also began spending hours each day working in the school’s costume department where she designed, sewed, and repaired costumes for her fellow students.

Upon graduating from high school, eighteen-year-old Rebecca moved to New York City to attempt breaking into the fashion design industry. In 2001, she founded her company with her savings and began designing a line of “I Love New York ” t-shirts which became highly popular after appearing on the Tonight Show. A few years later in 2005, Rebecca designed her first handbag called the “Morning After Bag” which skyrocketed her brand into the shopping public’s consciousness.

Today, the Rebecca Minkoff brand is global in scope, with her line including apparel, handbags, footwear, jewelry, and accessories.

At Rago Brothers, our craftsmen have decades of experience repairing and restoring the vast majority of global luxury brand handbags, shoes, and accessories. From simple repairs to complete refinishings, we are here to help.
